Todd and Ludmilla were married in 2001. The couple recently took the time to talk about their relationship for the benefit of other Anastasiaweb Members.
What led the two of you to try using Anastasiaweb?
Todd: You have a long-established firm, your marketing materials were honest, and there were no contracts, excessive fees, or high pressure tactics.
Ludmilla: I wanted to make new friends and correspond with pen-pals from other countries.
What initially attracted you to each other?
 Todd: Her letters were very sincere and she was obviously very intelligent, with a sense of new adventure.
Ludmilla: As I got to know him, he didn't seem to have any negatives for me, and his positive qualities exceeded all of my expectations.
Can you tell us a little about your courtship process?
Todd: The initial correspondence started back in February 98.
Ludmilla: After tens of emails I invited Todd over to Russia. Todd: We had two fabulous weeks together, then she accepted my invitation to visit, arriving on September 15th, 1998.
How, when & where did the marriage proposal occur?
Todd: The exact date is uncertainthe proposal was subtle and lovingly agreed to by Ludmilla. We simply agreed that we were "meant to be" as best friends and partners in marriage.
Ludmilla: After a month and a half of my stay in the U.S., we both felt that we cannot part.
Do you have any advice for others who want to try using Anastasiaweb?
Todd: Yes. First, be honest and don't exaggerate. Second, write "simple" English in your emails, be clear. Third, expect to learn from the differences in language and culture. Fourth, be patient!
